It's our people that make BDA the top global Merchandise Agency to work for.Location Requirement:This role will be on site at our office in Plainfield, INPosition OverviewWe are seeking a senior operations leader to oversee our flagship fulfillment facility and provide strategic leadership across our North America network. This role is accountable for driving operational excellence, scaling a multi-site distribution model, and delivering best-in-class service for a diverse client base.This leader will own end-to-end performance across safety, service, and employee engagement. This position will assist in building a standardized, scalable operating model to support continued growth, acquisitions, and complex business needs. The role also plays a critical part in shaping the future of our network through technology, automation, and data-driven decision-making.This is a highly visible leadership position with full P&L responsibility and significant influence over the direction of operations across North America.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day operations across a multi-site, multi-shift North America network, ensuring consistent execution and serviceDrive measurable improvements in safety, quality, service levels, and employee engagementBuild and develop a high-performing leadership team, creating a strong bench to support growth and succession planningOwn full P&L performance across labor, facilities, freight, capital investments, and systemsDevelop and execute strategic financial plans aligned to business objectivesLead integration of newly acquired facilities into unified systems, processes, and performance metricsOptimize network performance through process standardization and continuous improvementEvaluate and implement automation, systems, and infrastructure enhancements leading to improved throughput and cost reductionLeverage data, analytics, and emerging technologies to anticipate demand and inform operational decisionsChampion Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies, including Kaizen events, to drive continuous improvementFoster strong partnerships across internal stakeholders and site leadership teamsServe as a key ambassador for fulfillment operations, aligning priorities across functions and multiple sitesDesired QualificationsLeadership ProfileBuilder of teams and culture, with a focus on accountability, engagement, and performanceHands-on, high-impact leader with the ability to operate both strategically and tacticallyProven ability to lead in fast-paced, complex, and evolving environments while managing multiple prioritiesCommunicate effectively at all levels of the organization, influencing strategic decisions and outcomesData-driven decision maker with a track record of solving complex problems and delivering measurable resultsExperience & SkillsBachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred8+ years of progressive supply chain or operations experience, including 2+ years in senior leadership across multiple sitesDemonstrated success scaling operations, driving standardization, and improving network performanceExperience implementing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Demonstrated proficiency of Oracle EBS and/or WMS (Manhattan SCALE) preferredExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologiesPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT10% travel across North America required to support site alignment and performanceAbility to operate effectively in both office and distribution center environments, including standing, walking, and observing operationsWe are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth. The range listed is just one component of BDA’s total compensation and rewards programs, which includes: robust PTO; vacation, a paid volunteer day, holidays and summer Fridays, Benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, 401k; tuition reimbursement, mental health and financial wellness programs and professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement.
