Job Description Position SummaryAre you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.National Power is seeking an experienced electrician to be under the direction of and reporting to the Critical Power Regional Director, the ideal candidate will primarily be responsible for performing electrical work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment for National Power customers.This candidate will have the ability to independently assess the needs of a job based on schematics or blueprints but may also conduct assignments based on written and oral instructions. They will also bring a positive attitude, teamwork abilities, and a strong commitment to safety.Key ResponsibilitiesQualifications Core duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Must be familiar with the National Electric Code (NEC) using it to verify proper installation requirements and designsProvide on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance of equipmentOversee all electrical services and perform tests on electrical equipment and circuitsTroubleshoot issues and resolve any requests or concerns that come up in a timely mannerMust possess the ability to look at a project and forecast future labor and material requirementsMaintain relationships with customers and follow company guidelinesGuide clients on how to properly use equipmentAbility and knowledge to make suggestions for electrical equipment upgrades at customer sitesUpdate project drawings and prepare relevant documents and reportsEducation, Experience, and Other QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPossess, and able to document, 3+ years of experience in commercial electrical installationPhysical RequirementsTravel up to 50%Lifting and carrying heavy objects, up to 75lbs, may be requiredAscending or descending ladders, scaffolding, stairs, ramps and the like using feet/legs and/or hands/armsSeizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand(s)Pushing/pulling may involve the use of hands/arms, feet/legs, and/or feet, done with one side of the body or both sidesMoving about on hands and knees or hands and feet to enter restricted spacesOccasionally, using one or both feet or legs to move controls on machinery or equipmentClarity of vision and color vision are both required (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computersSitting/Driving for long periods is frequently requiredCompensation and Benefits:Salary xmcpwfu Range: $38.00-$45.00/hour depending on experience & qualificationsMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance401(k) retirement savings planPaid time off and paid holidaysCareer advancement opportunitiesYearly boot allowanceAdditional Info:Criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and MVR requiredThis is a remote position and will require the employee to work away from homeEqual Opportunity Employer: National Power, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and VEVRAA federal contractor and affords equal opportunity to all applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, gender identity, or any other status protected under local, state, or federal laws.Powered by JazzHRj9GDknyYJT
