Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC Technician - Restaurant Facilities
Job Description
Tired of a dispatcher deciding what your day looks like?
At Quality Restaurant Maintenance & Repair, Inc., we've been operating without that setup for 32 years. We keep 28 Wendy's locations across Ohio running, and we need a technician who knows their trade well enough to manage a route independently. You get the van, the tools, the parts, and the trust to handle it.
No micromanagement. No one riding your schedule. Just steady, real work across a portfolio of locations that need someone who actually takes pride in the craft.
What You'll Get:
$28-$33/hr depending on experience
Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance (eligible after 30 days)
Paid vacation (eligible after 6 months)
401(k) with 5% employer match (eligible after 1 year)
Company van and fuel
Company phone
Tools, parts, and inventory provided
Schedule flexibility — organize your day, own your route
What You'll Be Doing:
General HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical repairs at restaurant locations
Preventive maintenance to stay ahead of breakdowns
Equipment inspections to catch problems early
Interpreting blueprints and repair manuals to make the right call
Bringing in subcontractors for specialized work when needed
Keeping your van stocked and your schedule organized
Who We're Looking For:You've got the experience to work independently and the professionalism to communicate when something comes up. You don't need to be managed closely. You take the work seriously.
Beyond that:
High school diploma or GED
HVAC and Refrigeration certification (required)
5+ years of hands-on HVAC/refrigeration experience
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and technical manuals
Able to read blueprints and building plans
Valid driver's license with a clean record
Able to stand, climb, crawl, and lift 50 lbs as needed
Not checking every box? If you've put in the years and you do the work right, apply. We care more about how you operate than how your resume lines up.
How to Apply:Apply below. We'll follow up quickly.
Steady work, a company that's been around for decades, and a route that's yours to run. If that sounds right, we'd like to hear from you.
