Your mission is to solve complex supply chain challenges by building a product that delivers customized print materials across a massive warehouse network. You will be a key contributor to a product-centered engineering culture where technical innovation directly influences product strategy and the future of physical logistics.The RoleThis is a full-stack, product-focused role that demands complete lifecycle ownership of features, from initial conception and architectural design to deployment and maintenance.Full-Stack Development: Build scalable, event-driven services using a 50/50 balance of Python on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend.Serverless Architecture: Architect and manage decoupled systems using AWS Lambda, Aurora, S3, and EventBridge.Infrastructure and Automation: Own your infrastructure by implementing Infrastructure as Code via Terraform and optimizing CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Actions.Hardware Integration: Address unique challenges in integrating hardware components, such as Raspberry Pis and OpenWRT routers, with AWS IoT services.Collaborative Strategy: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and translate business requirements into robust technical implementations.The "Must-Haves"Technical Experience: 5+ years of software engineering experience with deep proficiency in Python and React/TypeScript.Cloud Expertise: 2+ years of experience with AWS, specifically building and deploying serverless architectures (Lambda, EventBridge, S3, Aurora).Infrastructure as Code: Proven experience using Terraform for cloud resource management.Full-Stack Balance: Strong capability across the entire stack; pure frontend or pure backend specialists will not be considered.Modern DevOps: Experience with GitHub Actions and robust testing practices to ensure high code quality.The "Bonus" SkillsTechnical Versatility: Familiarity with Go or Node.js.IoT and Hardware: Previous experience with IoT systems, embedded hardware, or Raspberry Pi integration.Industry Context: Background in print manufacturing, physical fulfillment, or marketing technology.Library Knowledge: Experience with Material UI or similar component libraries.Open Source: Contributions to open-source projects or active technical community involvement.Personal TraitsStartup Mindset: You are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced environments that require adaptability and high productivity.Product-Centered Thinker: You don't just execute tickets; you actively contribute to product strategy and technical innovation.Bias Towards Action: You take full ownership of outcomes and prioritize building for long-term scalability and impact.Radical Candor: You communicate with transparency and value a culture of continuous learning and iteration.Analytical Problem-Solver: You tackle complex, full-stack challenges with a focus on clean code and efficient implementation.
