We need someone who can sit at the intersection of product architecture, enterprise delivery, and platform governance.The ideal candidateWe are seeking to employ a strong hands-on architect who blends deep D365 F&O technical expertise with leadership and practical delivery experience. A broad understanding of business processes and experience implementing solutions in and around Microsoft D365 is vital.The purpose of this role will be to provide technical guidance and expertise to our clients on projects, as well as leadership skill and initiative, which will result in successful D365 Finance and Supply Chain implementation and Product delivery projects.Responsibilities include:Product & Platform Architecture·        Shape and evolve the architecture of Ryse ISV products used across multiple customers·        Define scalable patterns for instrumentation, performance, environment automation, and diagnostics·        Ensure products behave safely and predictably in high-volume production systemsEnterprise Solution Architecture·        Own technical design on complex D365 F&O engagements·        Translate functional requirements into scalable, supportable architectures·        Drive architecture decisions around extensibility, maintainability, and long-term supportability·        Ensure implementation quality aligns with Microsoft best practices and engineering standardsTechnical Leadership·        Lead solution design sessions, develop technical specifications, and architecture governance·        Conduct design/code reviews and establish operational and engineering maturity·        Mentor senior developers and raise the overall technical barAzure & Integration Strategy·        Architect integrations using OData, custom services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Dataverse·        Guide DevOps and ALM strategy (branching, CI/CD automation, environment hygiene and governance)·        Drive observability using App Insights, structured logging, and traceability practicesProduction Reality·        Diagnose and resolve Application issues, performance bottlenecks, and data volume and scaling problems·        Apply best practices for ongoing stability, uptime, and supportability·        Design systems with failure modes in mind - not just happy pathsProject Management & Delivery Leadership·        Experience delivering projects using Agile / Scrum methodologies·        Ability to translate requirements into backlog structure (epics, features, user stories)·        Experience leading sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming·        Strong stakeholder management across business and technical teams·        Experience managing scope, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines·        Ability to align cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes predictablyTechnical ExpertiseCore D365 Finance & Operations Engineering·        X++ development using the latest frameworks in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (SCM)·        Strong extension-first development approach (CoC, event handlers, delegates, post/pre handlers)·        Practical experience with development using Visual Studio, .NET frameworks, and C#·        Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, and enterprise software design principles·        Experience designing scalable customizations aligned with Microsoft best practices·        Good understanding of D365 security framework and permission modelingDevOps, ALM, and Engineering Practices·        Application Lifecycle Management using Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS)·        Experience with Git version control systems incl TFVC·        Experience designing branching strategies, pull request policies, and code quality gates·        CI/CD pipeline design, automated builds, and deployment practices for D365·        Experience managing environment governance and release management across multiple clients·        Experience configuring and running Regression Suite Automation Tool (RSAT)·        Familiarity with automated testing strategy and quality engineering practicesReporting, Data, and Analytics·        Report development using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)·        Understanding of reporting technologies in D365 Finance & Operations·        Power BI reporting including embedded Power BI inside D365 workspaces·        Data integration and publication using Data Entities, DMF, OData, and BYOD/BOYD·        Familiarity with data modeling concepts to support enterprise reporting and analytics·        Exposure to Fabric / Synapse / Lakehouse patterns to support modern analytics deliveryIntegration & Power Platform·        Integration architecture using OData, custom services, and external API integration patterns·        Power Apps and Power Platform experience including Dataverse concepts·        Implementation experience using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus patterns for enterprise integrations·        Understanding of integration reliability patterns including retries, idempotency, and monitoring·        Plus: Experience integrating with EDI solutions·        Plus: Experience implementing middleware solutionsPerformance, Troubleshooting & Production Support·        Good understanding of database fundamentals, including relational design, normalization, indexing, and query performance tuning·        Dynamics AX/D365 performance monitoring and tuning including experience with tools such as Trace Parser and SQL Server Profiler·        Experience troubleshooting production issues using telemetry, logs, traces, and structured diagnostics·        Knowledge of designing systems with failure modes in mind (resiliency, graceful degradation, safe rollbacks)·        Experience implementing Monitoring and Telemetry using Application InsightsAI, Copilot, and Intelligent Automation (Preferred)·        Experience designing AI-enabled workflows and productivity solutions using Microsoft tooling·        Familiarity with Azure OpenAI concepts including RAG patterns, embeddings, and grounding strategies·        Experience with Copilot Studio for agent design and orchestration using enterprise data sources·        Understanding of responsible AI considerations including tenant boundaries, privacy, and governance controls·        Ability to design AI pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and retrieval across structured + unstructured data·        Familiarity with evaluation approaches for AI quality, response accuracy, and hallucination risk reduction·        Experience integrating AI solutions into business processes using Power Platform and Azure servicesPlus Skills·        Experience implementing Dynamics 365 CE/BC/Commerce·        ISV or product engineering and development experience·        Strong Power Platform implementation experience (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)·        Familiarity with Microsoft implementation methodologies (Success by Design / Agile delivery)·        Experience with managed services delivery and supportQualifications·        Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience·        8+ years consulting in the Microsoft eco-system with a combination of at least 2-4 D365 Finance and Supply Chain or AX 2012 R2+ full lifecycle implementations·        Demonstrated Technical Architect role on multiple implementation projects·        Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills·        Strong architecture and solution design mindset (end-to-end ownership)·        Demonstrated ability to lead difficult conversations and drive outcomes·        Deep knowledge of integration, data migration, and enterprise delivery·        Object Oriented Programming and Design skills·        Desired certification: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Ops Apps
