Part-time CNA every Friday (and Sat & Sun when needed )

About the Role: ( Mandatory Friday 9am to 2pm ) Saturday & Sunday 9am to 5pm when neededAs a Part-Time Weekend CNA, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care during weekend shifts. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in various healthcare settings in Arundel Senior Program Residents. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care tailored to their individual needs. This position requires you to maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with both patients and their families. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall healthcare experience.Responsibilities:Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plansAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed by physiciansMonitor patient progress and respond to changes in their conditionEducate patients and their families about health management and post-discharge careCollaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective careSkills:The required skills for this position include strong clinical assessment abilities, which will be utilized daily to evaluate patient conditions and determine appropriate interventions. Effective communication skills are essential for educating patients and collaborating with the healthcare team, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned in their care approach. Time management skills will be critical as you balance multiple patient needs and prioritize tasks during busy weekend shifts. Additionally, proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) will be necessary for maintaining accurate documentation and facilitating seamless information sharing. Preferred skills, such as specialized certifications, will enhance your ability to provide expert care in specific areas, further benefiting patient outcomesPreferred Qualifications:Experience in a hospital or clinical setting.Certification in a specialty area (e.g., Critical Care, Pediatrics).Previous experience working weekends or in a part-time capacity.Minimum Qualifications:Current CNA) license in the state of practice.Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
