Location: Ranches Tennis CourtsSchedule: Part-time / Seasonal (flexible hours, mornings during the summer and evenings during the fall and spring)Position Overview:We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Tennis Instructor to support our tennis programs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with athletes of all ages, has a passion for tennis, and is eager to help players develop their skills in a fun and positive environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist the head instructor in planning and leading tennis lessons.Teach and demonstrate fundamental tennis skills, including strokes, footwork, and rulesProvide individualized feedback and encouragement to playersHelp organize and set up courts, drills, and equipment before and after sessionsAdapt instruction to meet the needs of various age groups and skill levelsPromote sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive learning atmosphereSupervise participants to ensure safety and adherence to program guidelinesAssist with match play and scrimmages.Track attendance and communicate effectively with staff, players, and parentsMaintain and organize equipment and assist with general facility upkeepQualifications:Basic knowledge of tennis techniques and rulesPrevious playing or coaching experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work with children, teens, and adultsPositive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethicCPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required)Perks of the role:Flexible schedulingOpportunity to gain coaching experiencePositive and active work environment
