Role Description This is a contract, hybrid role for a Project Controls Specialist (PCS) with a typical workweek of 40 hours. Based in Jersey City, NJ, and requiring some in-office presence at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey office at 4 WTC, 150 Greenwich St., this role offers flexibility for remote work. Key responsibilities include managing project schedules, budgets, and cost controls; monitoring project progress and identifying potential risks; analyzing data to support cost forecasting and performance metrics; preparing detailed reports and documentation for stakeholders; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Qualifications Proficiency in project scheduling, budget management, and cost control processesExperience with data analysis, cost forecasting, and performance reportingStrong expertise in project management methodologies and toolsExcellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in hybrid work environments, balancing remote and on-site collaborationBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferredExperience in public infrastructure or transportation projects is a plus
