J-522 Machine OperatorOperates machinery to include: lathes, milling machines, boring machines and grinders; machine metallic and nonmetallic workpiece according to specifications, tooling instructions and standard charts applying knowledge of machining methods.Required competencies include operating machinery, reading blueprints, setting up fixtures, and ensuring machined workpieces conform to specifications.Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with desired experience in machining courses or equivalent experience in a machine shop.Physical demands involve climbing, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequently sitting while performing duties.Mental demands include following procedures, applying basic math, planning work, reading and interpreting information, and recognizing safety hazards.Work environment is moderately loud.FabCorp/Hammonds is an equal opportunity employer.
