Regional Sales Representative
Executive Summary
The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for whole goods sales in the of MS, AR from RT 40 S, and LA. This position will be working with the Regional Sales Manager in MO to align the sales and service needs and will be striving to implement them in an efficient and strategic way. This position will be supported by the management team in Biglerville, PA. Contact with key account customers and the review of our national accounts will be required. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is a member of the Missouri location team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Translates the company’s strategic plans and objectives into departmental actions.
Organizes, manages, and actively participates in all activities necessary to generate leads and identify prospective business opportunities.
Organizes, manages and actively participates in all activities necessary to convert opportunities into new projects.
Identifies key customer prospects and decision makers and develops plans to effectively communicate and build relationships with these contacts.
Manages business opportunities through all phases of the process including identification, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, closing, and follow-up.
Persistently interacts with customers to identify their business needs.
Translates customer business needs into opportunities for growth.
Provides input to all functional departments on future customer needs.
Develops strategies for growth based on a thorough understanding of the company’s products and capabilities and the markets needs and opportunities.
Provides career development of employees through direct performance feedback and job coaching.
Supports the company’s strategic planning and budgeting process with necessary information and analysis.

Education:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
