A Movement Practitioner will be equipped to share the Gospel boldly, lead a 3/3s group, and train others using simple tools like the 411 training. The goal: Mulitply disciples and leaders in every corner of the city. Whether a student, retiree, or stay-at-home parent, anyone with a heart for Christ can play a role. A Movement Practitioner will serve as a catalyst, receiving ongoing coaching and support while laboring to see the lost reached, disciples made, and churches started. The city is filled with unreached people groups, international students, and spiritually disconnected locals. As thousands pour in, few are equipped to engage them with the Gospel. Someone who has a posture of surrendered obedience and is willing and ready to share the Gospel frequently. This includes volunteers, part-time, and full-time laborers who either raise support, receive church funds, or work bivocationally.TeamWhile in the city, Movement Practitioners will team with local Strategy Coordinators who are stewarding work among various gaps of lostness. Additionally, they will be equipped to build and catalyze their own team in a specific mission segment.EquippingMovement Practitioners will be trained in the 411 discipleship tool, including how to share the Gospel and their testimony as well as how to begin short-term discipleship, forming a 3/3s group, or a church start. They will receive regular coaching and encouragement.RhythmsThe Practitioner is expected to maintain a daily abiding relationship with Jesus. They will seek opportunities to share the Gospel weekly, gather 2-4 others committed to obeying Jesus, make disciples into a 3/3s group or training church, and train others how to do the same.TrainingMovement Practitioners will participate in and help lead training to equip others in disciple making.
