Welder

Job Description Our client located in Dothan, AL is looking for experienced welders. A Welder, or Brazer, is responsible for assembling pieces of metal together or repairing damage in metal components using heavy machinery that emits high heat, melting the metal into shape. Their duties include reviewing blueprints, cutting metal into the appropriate shape and smoothing molten metal to remove creases. This role will be great for anyone who wants to make the most of their abilities.We are hiring for 1st Shift, 5:30am - 3:30pm, Monday-Thursday with possible OT on Friday!!Job Duties Include:Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a projectSourcing the materials to be used in the projectMeasuring and cutting materials to specificationsWelding materials using the correct materials to join the metals togetherChecking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprintsSkills:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to read blueprintsKnowledge of various welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, arc, and oxy-fuel weldingAttention to detailKnowledge of manual and mechanical welding techniquesOur client is REQUIRING AT LEAST 6 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE in this field of workCompany DescriptionDTC Workforce Programs offers a unique staffing program that provides a managed approached for large scale distribution companies.
