Please visit our website at https://nursing.uncg.edu.Position Summary:The Associate Dean for Faculty and Academic Support Initiatives is an emerging academic leader who provides strategic and operational support to the Dean in advancing the mission, vision, and values of the School of Nursing. This role is designed for a faculty member with demonstrated leadership potential who will develop administrative acumen while contributing to initiatives that enhance faculty success, academic quality, and organizational effectiveness. The Associate Dean coordinates faculty credentialing and compliance activities, leads new faculty orientation and mentoring programs, supports academic assessment and reporting processes, and serves as a liaison for faculty and academic technology support. The position also includes teaching responsibilities to maintain engagement in the core mission of nursing education.Minimum Qualifications:Doctoral degree in Nursing (PhD or DNP) or a related discipline.Current, unencumbered RN license (or eligibility for NC licensure).Demonstrated excellence in teaching and academic service.Experience or clear potential in academic leadership, project management, or faculty development.Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in faculty credentialing, compliance, or accreditation processes.Experience with assessment, data reporting, or academic program evaluation.Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.Familiarity with academic technology systems and learning management tools (e.g., Canvas, Watermark, etc.).Special Instructions To Applicants:Applicants are required to upload a list of at least three (3) professional references that includes:Name,Company Name,Type of reference (Professional, Supervisor, Colleague, Academic, or Personal).
