With an on-campus farm (food forest, raised beds, chickens), we nurture critical thinking and empathy, ensuring each child's interests and needs are met.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Director to lead and manage our early childhood education program serving children age 3 through 1st Grade. This vital role combines strategic planning, educational administration, and leadership to ensure a nurturing, organized, and enriching environment for young learners. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for early childhood development, strong management skills, and experience in preschool and elementary-level education settings. As a key leader within our organization, you will oversee daily operations, support teaching staff, and collaborate with families to foster a vibrant school community committed to excellence.*Starting salary is negotiable, based on experience and education.Please do not apply if you do not meet the following requirements:QualificationsMust have 2-5 years of experience as an administrator/director in an early childcare role, with experience interfacing with childcare licensing and the FL DOE,Strong strategic planning capabilities to guide program growth and improvement initiatives,Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation within an educational setting; QB Online experience is a plus,Effective management skills to lead teams, oversee daily operations, and ensure high-quality educational experiences; Procare, Gusto, and other software experience is a plus,Extensive knowledge of education administration principles specific to early childhood including local licensing requirements and Florida State-funded scholarship programs such as VPK and Step Up,Proven leadership qualities that inspire staff, foster teamwork, and promote a positive organizational culture,Experience working within preschool and/or elementary school environments is highly desirable,Background in teaching or curriculum development in early childhood education ensures a deep understanding of pedagogical practices.Responsibilities & DutiesDevelop and implement strategic plans to enhance program quality, safety standards, and operational efficiency,Manage budgeting processes, monitor expenses, and allocate resources effectively to meet program goals,Supervise teaching personnel, providing leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities,Oversee curriculum implementation in alignment with educational standards and best practices in early childhood education,Coordinate with partners or external agencies to ensure compliance with licensing requirements and educational standards,Facilitate communication with families, addressing concerns and promoting community engagement,Lead enrollment efforts by promoting the program’s offerings and maintaining accurate records of student admissions and attendance.Join us in shaping the future by creating a supportive environment where young children thrive!
