The company focuses on autonomy that is affordable, adaptive, and human-aware, creating practical solutions that work in demanding industrial environments.Role Description We are seeking an experienced AGV Deployment Engineer to lead on-site commissioning and integration of our automated guided vehicles (AGVs) across customer sites in the United States. In this role, you will bridge the gap between software, hardware, and client operations. You will be responsible for taking our systems from initial setup through mapping, safety configuration, fine-tuning, and site handover.This is a 100% remote position based anywhere in the USA, with up to 60–75% travel to customer sites nationwide.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end on-site deployment, mapping, calibration, and commissioning of AGV systems, with a focus on forked automated vehicles.Conduct site readiness assessments, system integration tests, and validation of vehicle routing and navigation protocols.Troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical, safety system (LiDAR, PLCs), and software issues during installation and trial operations.Collaborate closely with cross-functional software, hardware, and solutions engineering teams to report field bugs and refine product performance.Train client operations and maintenance teams on system usage, basic troubleshooting, and safety protocols.Serve as the primary technical interface for customers on-site to ensure smooth project delivery and operational sign-off.Qualifications & ExperienceRobotics Experience: 2+ years of direct experience deploying, integration-testing, or maintaining industrial mobile robots (AGVs, AMRs, or autonomous warehouse equipment).Forked AGV Expertise: Hands-on experience specifically commissioning forked AGVs (e.g., automated reach trucks, counterbalanced AGVs, or automated pallet jacks), including fork calibration, load handling sensors, and pallet insertion/extraction tuning.Technical Skills:Proficiency with industrial networks, PLC hardware, vehicle control software, and LiDAR-based navigation systems.Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills (multimeters, wiring schematics, CAN bus analysis).Familiarity with safety standards (ANSI/ITSDF B56.5, ISO 3691-4).Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 75%) to client facilities throughout the USA.Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills to interface directly with customer stakeholders and internal engineering teams.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.Experience integrating AGVs/AMRs with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Warehouse Execution Systems (WES).Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System), Linux environments, or Python/C++ scripting for diagnostic testing.What We OfferCompetitive base salary with bonus potential.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.401(k) plan with company matching.Flexible work-from-home policy between travel assignments.Premium travel allowances and company-provided gear/tools.
