This position will assist the Telecom Manager with various large scale projects and tasks as needed and may potentially take the lead on upcoming projects as assigned by the customer throughout Northern California. As a leader, you will mentor, support, and grow your team as they connect America.** This position is expected to travel. **Connecting You To Great BenefitsWeekly PaychecksPaid Time Off, Parental Leave, and HolidaysInsurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance)401(k) w/ Company MatchStock Purchase PlanEducation ReimbursementLegal InsuranceDiscounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and much more!What You’ll DoYou will coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of field staff.You will coordinate scheduling, assist dispatch with daily job routing and ensure adequate staffing.You will identify problem areas in the department and communicate problems and possible solutions to the Project Manager.You will develop procedures and implement them to better organize the team/department.You will assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to technicians.You will assist in recruitment and training efforts.You will assist in warehousing and logistics support as needed to supplement the warehouse staffYou will establish, implement, and maintain operating standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.You will track employee performance, tool assignments, vehicle assignments, uniforms, consumable items, etc. through the creation and use of spreadsheets and other documentsYou will perform quality control inspections to correct and coach any issues foundYou will interface with customers to resolve complaints and damages resulting from installation workYou will perform various field technician duties as needed, including but not limited to, carrying and climbing a ladder when necessary.You will perform other duties not listed here, as they arise, and as they are assigned to you.What You’ll NeedMust have a valid driver’s license 3-5 years supervisory experience required in Aerial or Underground utility constructionExtensive knowledge of the cable and telecommunications industryExcellent customer service skillsExcellent oral and written communications skillsMust be flexible with hours as nights and weekends applyAbility to travel, as requiredMust be able to pass Background Check with an acceptable driving record and Drug screeningAble to read prints and line out crewsMust have strong project management skills.Capable of working in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.Good understanding of OSHA requirementsThe wage range for Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground is $85,000.00 - $100,000.00.Why grow your career with usYour career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
