Cath Lab Tech Location: Orange Park, FL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,466 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:30 - 18:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: ACLS, BLS Certifications: RCIS or RCES or RT(R) Must-Have: - Advanced skills in scrub for LHC/RHC/PCI/STEMI/Peripherals. - Ability to monitor during procedures. Description: Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. Unit specifics include a number of beds: 370. Patient ratios are not applicable for procedural positions. Type of equipment utilized includes GE Innova, OCT, Boston IVUS, Impella, IABP, RotoPro, CSI, and Penumbra. Documentation system used is MacLab/Meditech. Certifications include GWTG Awards for CAD, Mission Lifeline, Afib, and CHF. Scheduling requirements involve four 10-hour shifts per week. Floating may be required to support the prep/recovery area as needed. On-call schedule consists of two call teams and approximately 15-18 days per month. EMR system in use is Meditech. Weekends are scheduled on a rotating basis. Procedures performed in this unit include Diagnostic Left Heart Cath, PCI, STEMI, Stroke, Carotid Stenting, and Peripheral diagnostics and interventions. Staff enjoy a friendly culture, supportive management, and fast-paced environment. The facility is known for its newer procedure rooms and equipment. A dedicated charge nurse is available for the flow of the day. Outdoor activities in the surrounding area include golf courses, bike trails, and historic parks.
