Deputy Director of Water and Electric

Deputy Director of Water & Electric Direct scheduling, operation, and maintenance plans of the municipally owned Water Plant, Electric Plant and Distribution systems for steam, thermal and renewable power generation assets, including steam and gas turbine and RICE generators, utility-scale solar PV array, battery storage systems, SCADA, and auxiliary systems. Assess operating reports per environmental regulatory requirements. Manage maintenance projects; develop bid specs, and approve equipment commissioning of generators, substation and distribution transformers, switchgears, utility-scale solar PV array, battery storage systems electric substations and pumping stations. Requirements: 5 years experience as Water and Electric Utilities Supervisor or Assistant Director overseeing maintenance of water plant and electric generation systems including, substations, medium-voltage to high-voltage equipment up to 138 kV, overhead/underground cables, switchgear, transformers, substations, battery systems, SCADA/RTUs, pumping systems and reservoir and water distribution system, and in compliance with EPA/IEPA and utility regulations.
