Network Engineer – F5 BIG-IP Automation

Job Title: Network Engineer – F5 BIG-IP Automation Location: McLean, VA (Onsite) Job Type: Contract / Full-Time Visa Requirement: USC / GC only Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in F5 BIG-IP (LTM mandatory) and network automation to support large-scale enterprise hub-and-spoke network environments. The role involves working onsite in McLean, VA, supporting centralized F5 and security platforms across on-prem and cloud infrastructures. Key Responsibilities Configure, support, and maintain F5 BIG-IP LTM (iRules, SSL, virtual servers) Support hub-and-spoke enterprise network architectures Automate F5 and network tasks using Ansible, Python, REST APIs Troubleshoot network, firewall, and load balancer issues Support hybrid environments (on-prem + AWS/Azure) Work with security and infrastructure teams Maintain technical documentation and SOPs Required Skills 8+ years of Network Engineering experience Strong hands-on F5 BIG-IP LTM Experience with network automation (Ansible / Python / REST APIs) Understanding of enterprise hub-and-spoke network designs TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS Nice to Have AWS or Azure networking experience AWS Transit Gateway / Azure hub-and-spoke F5 certifications (101 / 201 / 301) Job Type: Contract Pay: From $65.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM?
