SharePartager sur Facebook Partager sur Twitter Partager sur LinkedInJob DescriptionComplete the design of connections between structural elements (beams, columns, bracing) in accordance with the customer’s requirements and industry practices using specific software and Excel spreadsheets, while ensuring the project criteria are met and are consistent with corporate mission and values.Essential FunctionsGathers, examines, and interprets information from project documents;Reports discrepancies and missing information on the contract documents;Detects special loading conditions, components, or possible issues and proposes solutions;Completes engineering calculations for connections between structural elements as per the loads applicable to the project and respecting the latest Eurocode, CISC, or AISC (ASD or LRFR);Generates connection sketches, calculation reports, or lists as required;Assists and transmits complete design and clear information to structural detailers;Collaborates and coordinates with the certified engineer of the project;Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor;Maintains a positive work atmosphere by interacting and communicating effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.QualificationsA Civil Engineering graduation is a must.Design engineering knowledge;Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, specifications, governmental regulations, drawings, and job specifications;Computer skills.
