CGP: Accounting Manager

We are partnering with one of our leading clients for an Assistant Controller. This role is temp to hire. You will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable, receivable and payroll functions along with managing a team of 5. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $45 to $55 per hour.Job Responsibilities:Participate in the development and implementation of Catholic Charities' financial and accounting goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.Ensure accurate accounting and tax records through effective data recording, verification, and processing.Provide management with periodic progress reports.Assist in enhancing department workflow by implementing new procedures and features.Prepare quarterly and monthly financial statements and analyses.Coordinate annual financial and Single Audit processes with external auditors.Conduct internal contract compliance reviews and control checks.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting.4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization.Utilize strong tech skills, including proficiency in SAGE INTACCT.Experience handling month-end journal entries and aging reports.REF #48883#LI-POST
