Our client, a leader in healthcare technology, is seeking a dedicated Software Engineer - Cybersecurity to join their innovative team. As a Software Engineer - Cybersecurity, you will be part of the R&D department supporting the development and security enhancement of medical devices. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for advancing cybersecurity in healthcare technology, aligning successfully within the organization.Job Title: Software Engineer - CybersecurityLocation:Little Canada, MN (On-site)Pay Range: $45-48/hr on w2What's the Job?Must have Qt application development framework. Design, develop, and maintain secure software applications using C++ and Python. Implement and uphold secure coding practices to protect medical devices against cybersecurity threats. Utilize OpenSSL for cryptographic operations, including encryption, key management, and certificate handling. Participate in code reviews, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments to ensure robust security measures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and document security controls and system configurations. What's Needed?Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 3 years of experience developing software in C++ and Python. Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) and secure programming practices. Ability to apply cybersecurity principles such as confidentiality, integrity, and availability to software design.
