Senior User Interface Designer

Job Title: UI/UX Designer (ASP.NET / Agile Environment)Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite – Shipley Building, 1970 West Broad Street)Job Type: Long-Term ContractInterview Process: 15-min Teams intro + Onsite final interviewJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to design modern, intuitive, and user-centered interfaces for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with business users, project managers, and development teams in an Agile environment, driving product improvements and delivering high-quality user experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders, business users, and engineering teams to gather UI requirementsDesign wireframes, prototypes, and interactive UI solutionsConduct user research, usability testing, and design validationCreate and maintain a Design System library for consistency and reuseWork across the full product lifecycle: discovery ? design ? deliveryEnsure UI/UX follows best practices and security standardsCollaborate with developers for smooth UI handoff and backend integrationParticipate in Agile ceremonies (scrum, backlog grooming, etc.)Lead discussions, design workshops, and contribute to product strategyMentor team members and provide technical guidanceRequired Skills & Experience8+ years of UI/UX design experienceStrong experience in Agile methodologyExpertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Fluent UIExperience with Figma or similar design toolsStrong knowledge of user-centered design & site architectureExperience designing applications from start to finishHands-on experience with ASP.NET / C# / MVCStrong communication, leadership, and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsUI/UX CertificationExperience with ASP.NET Core MVC applicationsExperience creating user journey maps & workflow diagramsKnowledge of secure UI design practicesAdditional RequirementsMust present a portfolio during the interviewStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesBackground check requiredNoteCandidates must demonstrate strong technical and functional expertise during the interview.
