Arcosa Marine Products, Inc. is searching for a Sales Manager located in Gallatin, TN. This position will manage sales activities for the NABRICO and Wintech brands and have responsibility for developing and growing new target accounts and servicing existing accounts. The Sales Manager will ensure that Arcosa and its brands are viewed as leaders in innovation and reliability within the marine market.Arcosa Marine Products, a leading manufacturer of inland barges, manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. Arcosa Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, Arcosa Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.What You'll DoWork with Marine Components leadership team to set sales targets and goalsMake sales visits to customer locationsDevelop budgets for sales activity by customerSupport outside sales team with sales plans to deliver the results needed to achieve sales volume targetsProvide timely reports by markets for month-end documentationMonitor and report all mileage, expense and other reports for cost controlCoordinate sales activity with Plant Managers and EngineeringWork with logistics team to ensure successful customer delivery and receiptMonitor regional sales distribution terminals to ensure appropriate inventory volumesParticipate in Industry, Regional, and National organizations as directed to complement marketing effortsManage a team of inside sales and customer support staff in Gallatin, TNWhat You'll NeedMinimum of five years of technical sales and marketing or sales management experience; or equivalent in education, training and work history requiredBroad knowledge of the marine industry with a focus on marine deck equipment is preferredGeneral business knowledge plus an understanding of the industryKnowledge of the vessel construction and repair process, including phases of project delivery from start to completionAbility to analyze and compare technical data and specificationsProficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointExcellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills requiredGood organizational and time management skillsSkilled in target account conversion with knowledge of market conditions and competitionAbility to travel without restrictions
