A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.Opportunity:/nRN - ICU/n/nJob Details:/n• Collaborate with physicians to provide comprehensive patient care plans/n• Provide bedside nursing care and carry out medical orders/n• Delegate to and oversee various healthcare support staff including Nurse Assistants, Patient Care Associates, and other team members/n• Evaluate effectiveness of care plans and patient outcomes/n• Assume leadership role in integrating evidence-based knowledge into practice/n• Coordinate and delegate nursing care tasks and assignments/n• Participate in patient conferences and discharge planning/n• Provide patient education and communicate with appropriate resource personnel/n• Mentor and precept new employees and students/n• Function as team leader ensuring proper patient placement and assignment delegation/n• Work every other weekend (every third weekend may be considered)/n• Must be comfortable floating to Emergency Department and Step-down units/n• 2+ years of ICU experience required/n• Travel experience preferred/n• Neurosurgical and open heart experience preferred/n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS/n• Preferred certifications: TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN/n• Michigan nursing license required/n• No on-call responsibilities/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center providing advanced critical care services including intensive care, emergency services, and specialized surgical programs.
