Interventional Cardiologist Locum Tenens Location: Bloomington, IL Start Date: October 20, 2025Duration: 26 weeksSchedule: Weekend coverage Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM Position Overview: I am seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to provide weekend locum coverage in Bloomington, Illinois. This is a high-impact role supporting inpatient cardiac care and STEMI call coverage. Responsibilities: Provide full interventional cardiology coverage including:Cardiac catheterizationsPCI and related proceduresSTEMI auto-accept program coverageCath Lab procedures for inpatientsCollaborate with hospitalist and ICU teamsConsult and coordinate with employed and PSA cardiologistsMaintain productivity expectations of 80 RVUs per shift Requirements: MD or DOActive Illinois medical licenseDEA, ACLS, and Illinois CSR certificationsMinimum 1 year of interventional cardiology experienceMust be name clearable with:CVNPILicense verificationInterview availabilityCoverage availability Compensation: Friday and weekend on-call with call back Travel & Lodging: Covered Additional Information: EMR System: PS360On-call Response Time: 30 minutesPrivileging: Temporary privileges available; full credentialing takes 60 daysCOVID-19 Vaccination: Required (exemptions may be considered)Interview Process: Name clear Submission Phone interview Offer
