Neurology opening in New Hampshire - Located in Berlin, NH - Full-time, permanent positionJob Summary:Seeking a full-time (4.0 or 4.5 days/week) neurologist to join a highly productive, skilled, and popular neurologist at AVH and selected outreach clinic sites to help meet clinical demands for services and build a neurology service for 3 Critical Access Hospitals).Provides office-based general neurology services to new and established patients (adolescents age 16 and older as well as adults), including medication management, education and counseling of patients and families, ordering diagnostic tests, referral to related other specialties (e.g., cardiology, orthopedics, pain management, pulmonology, sleep medicine) locally, referral to subspecialty neurologists at tertiary care centers, and communication with PCPs.Most commonly diagnoses encountered are: Migraine, Memory Loss, Essential Tremor, Parkinson's Disease, Cognitive Impairment, Dizziness, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Polyneuropathy, Headache. Partners with other members of neurology team (e.g., neurologist colleague, radiologist, EEG technologists, MAs and RNs, physical therapists). Infrequently provides consultation for inpatients (0-3 times/week). More often provides curbside (unofficial) consultations to hospitalist and arranges to see patient in timely manner (
