Assembler 1VOLT is HIRING NOW!Volt is immediately hiring for 1st & 2nd Shift Production Assembler paying $19 - $20 Depending on the shift in Edgewater, FL.As a 1st & 2nd Shift Assembler, you will:Assemble products and components according to production requirements.Rotate through various production and assembly tasks as needed.Follow work instructions, procedures, and quality standards.Assist in the production and assembly of wiring and cable assemblies.Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, when trained and authorized.Support daily production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.Perform housekeeping duties, including sweeping, shoveling, and maintaining clean work areas.Inspect materials and completed work to ensure quality standards are met.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.This is a full-time opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:High School Diploma or GED required.0 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, warehouse, or industrial environments preferred.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Good verbal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.Work Environment & Requirements:Comfortable working outdoors and in hot weather conditions.Wear closed-toe steel-toe safety shoes (employee-provided).Comply with all workplace safety requirements.Candidates with long beards may be required to comply with site-specific safety and PPE requirements.Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.Ability to work around production equipment, machinery, and forklifts.Preferred Qualifications:Previous assembly or manufacturing experience.Forklift experience or certification.
