Duties Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and availability for food service. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and kitchen staff. Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, counters, floors, and storage areas regularly. Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring all items are ready for service. Help with bussing tables and clearing plates during busy service times to keep dining areas tidy. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Assist in basic kitchen organization tasks to streamline workflow during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices. Experience with food preparation or culinary activities such as chopping, assembling, or plating is a plus. Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and maintaining hygiene standards in a commercial kitchen setting. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience with banquet or large event setups can be advantageous but is not mandatory. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues and delivering excellent hospitality.
