Full-Stack Software Engineer

Location: Dearborn, MI (Hybrid)Employment Type: Full-Time ContractPay: $55-58 per hourDescription: Responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications and products that meet customer needs. This role participates in the full software development lifecycle, including architecture design, coding, testing, deployment, performance optimization, security, and continuous improvement. Full-stack responsibilities include both front-end user interfaces and back-end services.Responsibilities:Engage with customers to understand use cases, pain points, and requirements while advocating for user-centric solutions.Design, develop, and deliver software solutions using modern languages, frameworks, tools, Agile methodologies, and technologies.Evaluate application requirements and determine appropriate technology stacks, integrations, and deployment strategies.Create high-level architecture designs defining application structure, components, and interfaces.Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and cross-functional teams.Define and implement software testing strategies, policies, and best practices.Optimize application performance and development efficiency through continuous improvement and emerging technologies.Utilize software engineering best practices including TDD, CI/CD, and secure coding standards.Support data security through encryption, anonymization, and other security measures.Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces and maintain APIs, microservices, and server-side applications.Monitor, evaluate, and incorporate new technologies and industry innovations.Develop and maintain Angular-based web applications using TypeScript, RxJS, and Angular Material (or similar UI libraries).Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security.Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases and queries.Implement event-driven and asynchronous messaging solutions using Google Cloud Pub/Sub.Utilize Redis for caching, session management, and performance enhancements.Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage).Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize full-stack application performance.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, architecture discussions, and technical design decisions.Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and technical documentation are maintained.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree4+ years of IT experience3+ years of software development experienceProficiency with at least one programming language or frameworkExperience with: Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScriptPreferred:Ability to learn quickly and implement new concepts rapidly.Passion for engineering excellence.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Knowledge of testing and security methodologies and tools.Experience with Agile environments and DevOps practices.Skills: GitHub, Microservices, SonarQube, Dynatrace, JIRA or equivalent Agile project management tools
