Senior Accountant - Remote
Our client is an established and respected fully remote accounting services provider supporting multi-unit companies who require assistance with their day-to-day accounting needs. We are seeking a Sr. Accountant with end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping and accounting process experience. If you are a collaborative team-member who is a self-starter, great communicator, and able to manage your daily responsibilities and deadlines, we want to hear from you!What You Will Be Doing:Full-cycle Bookkeeping/Accounting servicesFinancial reporting and analysis with recommendations to clientsDaily client bookkeeping managing A/R, A/P, Sales, CR and DisbursementsMonthly client reconciliations of vendor, bank, and credit card statementsBalance sheet accounts i.e.: petty cash, payroll liabilities and loansProcessing and posting client PayrollMonth-end closing reporting and processingTax compliance, assisting with documentation and preparation for filingSr. Accountant Requirements:Full-Cycle Bookkeeping/Accounting for multi-entity/multi-location clientsA minimum of 5+ years of full-cycle Cash and Accrual accounting experienceExperience supporting Home Services Businesses (the trades i.e.: HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Landscape, pest control, etc.)Must have exceptional QuickBooks Online AND Excel experience (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookup)EOS experience highly desiredExperience with Billable hoursBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceEnd-to-End transactional bookkeeping with strong financial reporting and analysis experienceAI and Technology Proficiency: This role requires the regular use of AI‐enabled tools to enhance productivity and support decision‐making.
