What you will do as Restaurant Assistant General Manager Assisting with recruiting, hiring and training all restaurant staff, including servers and hosts Scheduling employees to ensure shifts have proper coverage Streamlining the restaurant processes to improve the guest experience Promoting the restaurant and finding ways to bring in more customers Handling customer complaints Completing necessary paperwork, such as sales, inventory and staff attendance reports What you need to be successful as a Restaurant Assistant General Manager Have a fun, positive, and energetic personality. Previous experience in restaurant industry with relevant profile Strong understanding of cost and labor systems that lead to restaurant profitability Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to lead big groups of people Ability to motivate and positively influence staff as well as confidently deliver performance feedback, set goals, and foster teamwork. Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills and display proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality.
