Directs, supervises and coordinates the work of branch personnel to include assistant managers, platform, receptionists and tellers of a full service branch whose focus is lending, membership growth, training, employee development, business development, service and successful sales management. Responsible for the immediate and general supervision of daily activities of staff and implementation and adherence to branch policies, procedures and federal regulations.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Operations and Risk Management: • Manage operational, physical, human capital, reputational and business risk. • Exercise leadership, authority and sound decision making to mitigate risk, protect member assets, and ensure the security of branch, personnel, members and their financial transactions. • Implement and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, adherence to established policies and procedures, federal regulations and enforcement of dual control. • Provide for accurate completion of daily branch settlement, cash management and maintenance of branch records, reports and statistics. • Define and delegate authority and oversee as appropriate to maintain efficiency of operations. • Take necessary actions to ensure physical branch appearance meets branded APGFCU standards. • Responsible for reporting building safety or maintenance concerns. • Evaluate quality of work produced and ensure timely error resolution, promoting risk mitigation and member satisfaction. • Ensure compliance with all Security, Safety and emergency preparedness procedures. • Ensure compliance with HR related policies and practices such as timekeeping compensation, leave usage, separations, etc. • Ensure the team follows, complies with and regularly reviews all required policies and procedures. • Analyze and independently solve day to day problems.Culture and Leadership: • Manage priorities through planning and execution to lead all aspects of branch performance. Including but not limited to: . Ensure and supervise efficiency of all daily operations . Ensure and coordinate adequate staffing with strategic placement to meet business needs . Establish performance goals and priorities . Provide input and prepare branch budget requirements for corporate financial planning . Ensure budget management and operations remain within planned budget• Create member loyalty through consultative interactions and solutions to help build wealth. • Coordinate and lead the work of direct reports engaged in providing efficient and courteous services comprised of opening new accounts, establishing business banking relationships, promoting products and services, performing day-to-day teller activities and conducting loan interviews and settlement through a variety of delivery channels. • Drive and prioritize employee morale, engagement and experience by building a high performing team through the attraction, onboarding, coaching and development of branch team members. • Embody APGFCU values by cultivating and supporting a safe and secure workplace. • Provide direction to assistant branch manager assigning and scheduling personnel to ensure efficient overall branch performance. • Demonstrate commitment and interest to ensure employees achieve performance expectations through effective and ongoing performance management, performance appraisals, providing feedback specific to employee performance, recommending development actions and discipline, collaborating with branch operations leadership and human resources on employee relations matters, and adhering to credit union personnel, policies, and procedures. • Implement plans to promote continuous learning for self and staff through various learning channels. • Anticipate and identify causes for inadequate results and take corrective action. • In collaboration with area manager or AVP branch operations, develop annual branch budgets and ensure expenses remain in line within approved budgets. • Actively identify areas for efficiencies and make contributions by sharing ideas, fostering an environment of continuous improvement. • Communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner regardless of channel or audience, ensuring good employee and member relations. • Communicate goals, operational changes and updates to staff as appropriate. Member Experience and Sales: • Lead, plan and implement a branded sales process in support of our mission of empowering members to build wealth. Analyze reports and conduct trend analysis to optimize branch performance. • Optimize best practices through routine service and sales meetings, coaching, follow up and tracking utilizing individual and branch sales dashboard as measurement to meet established goals. • Promote member service excellence and lead a team to deliver exceptional member service. • Enforce ethical sales practices through inspections, coaching, observations, and staff meetings. • Grow branch profitability through member acquisition, loan and deposit growth. • Coach consultative selling, maximizing all tools available and promoting daily service and sales activities. • Coordinate efforts of entire branch to achieve assigned monthly goals Implement strategic plan based on branch size and volume to include leads management, out-bound call management, teller referral follow-up and oversee proper tracking efforts. • Provide coaching to members of staff to develop skills and experience by completing or facilitating observational coaching, recommendations for additional training, and inspection of work produced. • Enforce established Performance Standards set for each position. • Take timely action in response to member service concerns and escalations, working towards resolution to meet service satisfaction expectations within established and expected response time.Business Development: • Develop and promote APGFCU through community involvement and represent APGFCU in business associations. • Encouraged to actively serve on community associated boards or committees. • Work with business development directors and business banking managers to create awareness of APGFCU and promote membership growth. • Participate in various outreach activities such as local APGFCU sponsored events and open enrollments. • Support continued due diligence on business banking relationships. • Liaise with other branch leadership to support business growth and continuity of regional operations • Foster business relationships and establish products and services to meet the needs of local business members, their employees and prospects. • Evaluate financial goals and needs of business members to improve profitability and efficiencies through APGFCU offered merchant services.Other: Perform other related duties as assigned or associated with the responsibility.Additional: Responsible for completion of applicable training and compliance on federal regulations and APGFCU policies and procedures as related to the duties of this position (Bank Secrecy Act, Information Security
