You will be responsible for strategically planning high-impact marketing campaigns, taking full ownership of the in-store signage channel, and leading our community engagement and experiential events. You will be working with cross-functional stakeholders. This role actively leads and mentors the team responsible for campaigns, signage, events, & partnerships.What You’ll DoEssential FunctionsStrategic Planning: Manage the annual planning of all marketing activities in close collaboration with knowledge of the grocery retail market, international partners, insights team, loyalty team, promotional team, purchasing team, PR and Supply Chain.Campaign planning: Manage the full project lifecycle of our campaigns: going from development, steering the internal marketing teams, operational execution and post mortem analysis.In-Store Signage & Refits: Direct the signage team to ensure cohesive visual merchandising that aligns with marketing campaigns of all sizes, scaling seamlessly from campaigns to comprehensive store remodels. Manage every aspect of print marketing, including production timelines, legal reviews, creative asset approval, and vendor funding. Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate alignment between internal marketing teams and external print/production partners to ensure consistency across all markets.Experiential events, Partnerships & community engagement: Lead the Events & Partnerships team to design and execute highly engaging experiential marketing events. Drive regional strategic partnerships by establishing a centralized vision with adaptable, localized execution. Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of grand openings and re-openings, managing pre-launch buzz, day-of execution, and post-launch engagement.Performance Optimization: Evaluate campaign effectiveness through data analysis, translating performance metrics into actionable insights to continuously refine and elevate future marketing strategies.Financial Partnership: Partner directly with the Marketing Finance specialist to determine the most effective and budget-conscious media strategy for each channel.What You’ll NeedRequired Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesIndustry Expertise: Strong understanding of the retail grocery and consumer goods sector.Leadership: Excellent supervisory and leadership skills, with a proven ability to train, delegate, and elevate others.Relationship Building: Proven ability to build partnerships and maximize relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.Project Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strict attention to detail and a proven ability to meet deadlines.Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate data into actionable marketing strategies.Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Retail, Business, or related field 10 years of experience in a related field; managing a brand, managing teams, creating and implementing marketing campaigns for consumer targetsIn lieu of degree, 12+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed aboveWhat You’ll ReceiveAt Lidl, we know that in order for our people to do their best, they must be at their best.
