We are hiring for an Enterprise Data Product Owner – Medallion Architecture.This contract role will support enterprise data transformation initiatives within a Chief Data Office environment. The selected candidate will help lead the modernization of enterprise data products across cloud platforms while supporting the deployment and operationalization of a Medallion Architecture framework.Location: Buffalo, NY; Wilmington, DE; Bridgeport, CT; or Pittsburgh, PASchedule: Hybrid, 4 days onsite requiredDuration: 6 months, with strong potential for extensionKey responsibilities include:• Own and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for large-scale enterprise data products• Partner with senior leadership, enterprise architecture, engineering, analytics, and business teams• Support the transition of legacy data products into scalable, governed, business-aligned modern data products• Prioritize competing demands based on business value, product strategy, and stakeholder needs• Write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and support Agile delivery practices• Promote strong data management principles, including lineage, cataloging, governance, and quality• Drive stakeholder communication and product-level delivery updates across a matrixed environmentIdeal candidates will have:• 6+ years of experience in product ownership, enterprise data, data strategy, business/data analysis, or technical product management• Strong banking or financial services industry experience• Experience working within enterprise data organizations or Chief Data Office environments• Proven ability to function as a true Product Owner, not just a delivery coordinator• Experience building or leading early-stage or enterprise-scale data products• Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers• Hands-on familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, Data Lake/Data Mesh concepts, and enterprise data governancePreferred experience includes data science enablement platforms, enterprise analytics environments, federated data architectures, and modern cloud-based data product ecosystems.Please note: We are only considering direct applicants at this time.
