Night Custodian - Boone Park Elementary

Custodian - NLRSD will keep the building clean and in orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities and notifying maintenance of needs for repairs.Some essential functions of the position:Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, buffing, scrubbing, or vacuuming dailyGather and empty trash from receptacles both inside and outside dailyStrip, finish, and buff floorsClean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegeeDust and polish furniture and fixturesClean carpetsNotify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systemsSet-up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetingsMove heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucksPerform other job related tasked not mentioned above as assigned by the Building Principal and/or Custodial SupervisorThe North Little Rock School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
