Position SummaryThis position is responsible for developing and maintaining cost effective processes and procedures for parts manufactured at Precera Medical. In addition, this role is responsible for providing technical support to cross functional departments, coordinating the activities of assigned projects, maintaining manufacturing plans in the ERP system, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, and maintaining appropriate documentation.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain cost effective processes and proceduresAdvocate and implement the highest quality standards and LEAN principlesAssess and communicate technical specifications to all departmentsProvided design for manufacturability feedback to appropriate audiencesIdentify and complete continuous improvement projectsCreate and coordinate engineering studiesAssist in the development of tool design and CNC programmingFixture design and implementationCreate and modify through change control, BOM/BOO routings within the ERP systemAssist with all costing and quoting functionsResolve daily manufacturing issues per LEAN structureMaintain appropriate documentation for engineering changes and manufacturing processesCoordinate measurement methods with quality programmers and engineersMaintain machining and secondary operational processesAll other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or an associate degree with 4 years of experience in similar fieldExperience with CAD softwareProficient PC skills in a Windows environment, especially word and excelEffective written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and teamwork skillsAbility to travel between Precera sites as neededPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the design and selection of fixturing and tooling for complex partsExperience in a precision machine shop environmentLEAP / Six Sigma training and demonstrated applicationExperience with CAM software; swiss or millingExperience working within an ISO 13485 environmentCompensation and Benefits OverviewStarting Pay Range for this position is $75,000-$120,000/Annually.Minimum pay rates offered will comply with applicable county or city regulations if they exceed the listed range.
