Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Unit (Med-Surg Adult) Job Type: Contract (Travel RN) Shift: Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holidays required Job Summary We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for the Medical-Surgical Adult unit. The RN will provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with clinical standards, hospital policies, and state regulations. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) Administer medications and treatments according to approved nursing practices and physician orders Document patient care accurately and in compliance with standards Develop and implement individualized patient care plans Provide patient and family education as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Participate in quality improvement and shared governance activities Ensure patient safety and escalate clinical concerns appropriately Float to other units if required Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification Flu vaccination required Education verification required Less than 1 year of experience accepted (Med-Surg Adult preferred) CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID 295506.
