Procurement Manager
OverviewWolf is seeking a Procurement Manager to join our growing and well-established national firm. The Procurement Manager is responsible for executing procurement strategies that optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance across the organization, all while minimizing risk. This role leads day-to-day sourcing, vendor management, contract administration, and renewal activities to support business objectives while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.At the Manager level, this role is hands‐on, execution‐focused, and serves as a key partner to internal stakeholders by providing guidance on vendor selection, contract terms, and procurement best practices.*Boston preferred, though not required. This role is primarily remote with occasional onsite visits to the Boston office.ResponsibilitiesVendor Contract & Procurement ManagementOwn and manage Wolf's vendor contracts, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and related vendor agreementsServe as the primary point of contact for procurement and contract‐related inquiries across the firmLead contract negotiation, execution, amendments, and renewals in collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendorsMaintain accurate and organized contract records and documentationContract Review, Renewal & NegotiationProactively track contract terms and renewal dates to support timely planning and decision‐makingEstablish and manage renewal reminders and workflows to prevent auto‐renewals and unfavorable contract extensionsLead negotiations for renewals, pricing adjustments, and updated terms in alignment with firm prioritiesBalance cost control, service quality, and risk when evaluating renewal and negotiation outcomesTerms, Conditions & Risk OversightReview contractual terms and conditions prior to execution to ensure alignment with firm requirements; and work to set up and standardize those requirementsPartner with Legal, Finance, and Risk teams to identify and address contractual risksEnsure the firm does not enter non‐conforming contracts (e.g., revenue‐sharing, percentage‐of‐revenue, or similar fee‐based arrangements) without required approvalsEvaluate contracts for compliance with firm policies, insurance requirements, and regulatory obligationsCompliance, Governance & Contract AdherenceMaintain visibility into key contract provisions, including pricing, service levels, termination rights, data security, and confidentiality termsReview and improve processes currently in place to monitor vendor and internal adherence to contractual obligationsIdentify, document, and elevate non‐compliance or performance issues as appropriateStakeholder Partnership & Process ImprovementCollaborate with IT, Finance, HR, Facilities, Operations, and other teams on vendor selection, onboarding, and contract optimizationProvide guidance to stakeholders on procurement standards, contract requirements, and risk considerationsIdentify opportunities to streamline procurement processes, improve contract standardization, and enhance vendor oversightBuild and maintain relationships with Wolf's Client & Corporate Services leaders to ensure current and future vendor needs are met in a coordinated and streamlined way (e.g., following Information Services architecture guidance)QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field required5–8 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, contract management, or a related functionDemonstrated experience managing vendor contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, and service agreementsProven ability to track, manage, and negotiate contract renewals effectivelyStrong experience reviewing contractual terms and conditions with a risk‐aware mindsetExperience managing and negotiating contracts with software and IT vendorsAbility to identify and prevent unfavorable commercial arrangementsExperience partnering with Legal, Finance, and Risk teams on contract review and compliance mattersHighly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneouslyStrong communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable advising managers and senior leadersExperience with procurement, contract management, or ERP systems preferredProfessional procurement certification (CPSM, CIPS, CSCP) a plusAdditional InformationWolf & Company, P.C. is committed to striving to be an employer of choice that embraces inclusion & diversity. In addition to base pay, you may be eligible to participate in our performance‐based incentive compensation or sales commission plans.
