Monitors vital signs as needed. Performs general equipment and department maintenance. Reports any maintenance or safety issues as needed.Assists to develop and facilitate the client’s individualized fitness plan. In addition, provides supervision and training for wellness clients. Assists with collecting and maintaining demographic information as well as attendance and progress records. Serves as instructor for wellness aquatic program.Preferred EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalentRequired SkillsGood interpersonal skills, basic organizational and time management skills. Basic knowledge and skills to care for the physical and development needs of the population age groups that will be receiving services. Basic computer skills.Preferred SkillsBilingual in Spanish and EnglishRequired Licensure/Registration/CertificationCPR and Personal Trainer CertificationRequired ExperienceExperience with fitness training for wellness programPreferred ExperienceExperience working in a healthcare setting or geriatric population
