In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities: Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs. Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams. Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity. This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado, and be expected to work in the office. To be effective, ideally, you should also have: Previous professional experience managing and leading multiple project teams at a time from infancy through execution while meeting strategic and tactical demands. Demonstrated ability to create, present, and maintain multi-media based briefings to a wide audience. Previous professional experience interacting with senior leaders within Lockheed Martin (may include both Enterprise and Corporate levels). A track record of producing high-quality work under tight deadlines for various projects. Broad background in the major initiatives at Space. Demonstrated excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective work with colleagues and leaders at all levels. Ability to influence multi-functional and cross organizational teams. Forward thinker, able to anticipate future needs, willing to go above and beyond with focus on organizational success.
