Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you will join Turnberry's Data Strategy and Intelligence practice and service. This service provides insights into company data, advanced analytics solutions, robust data governance, and tailored solutions for specific data challenges.ResponsibilitiesDesign and architect reliable, high-performance functional and technical specifications using extensive knowledge of SDLC database programming in PL/SQL environmentDevelop new functionality, design and implement Oracle PL/SQL solutions that satisfy complex business requirementsFocus on system design that provides stability and performanceWork directly with business groups, analyze user needs, and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraintsOracle IAS development (HTML web pages built with PL/SQL)Design and implement software solutions that understand the business domain (problems, activities, processes) and apply that understanding to strategic decision making to maximize technology valueArchitect new procedures and practices in a team environmentBe aware of emerging technologies and champion them in our environmentQualificationsBachelor's degree in a technical or related discipline (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience designing and developing applications using Oracle PL/SQL technologySelf-starter with demonstrated initiative and a drive to deliver outstanding solutionsMid-Sr. level Oracle PL/SQL developer, accustomed to working 12-48+ month contractsThis is a software design role, not just development, so ideal candidates will need more than just coding skill setExperience working on an Agile SCRUM teamPerformance/security-oriented data modeling and data design, including partitions, different type of indexes, views, and most effective data management practicesExtensive knowledge of PL/SQL and PL/SQL tuningNice to have: Oracle IAS development experience (building HTML web pages with PL/SQL)Independent problem solver with ability to provide examples of troubleshooting experienceUnderstanding of SDLC conceptsDatabases: Oracle 10g, Oracle 11gProgramming Language: Oracle PL/SQL, ShellThe salary range for this role is $95,000 to $140,000 or the hourly equivalent.
