Length of Assignment: 9 months – possibility to extend based on performance/position need Pay range: $70.67 - 80.00/hr on w2 (all inclusive) Important:This role is hybrid (Tues- Thurs in office and Mon/Fri from home) at the ** or at Walbert in PA.Role is heavy in data programming – will be working in excel frequently so solid understanding is required.PYTHON experience 1 yr is preferredComputer Programming background preferredBachelors degree requiredComputer literacy in essential functions like Outlook, virtual desktop and Teams are required.MODBUS 2030.5 experience preferredJob Description:Requirements for Distribution Operations DER EngineerBackground and experience in the following areas:Distributed Energy Resource (DER) planning and evaluating system impactsDER standards including energy storage (battery), solar PV invertersWorking knowledge of IEEE 1547.2018 and UL 1741Voltage optimization, hosting capacity, and power flow analysisDER standards including energy storage (battery), solar PV invertersCommunications of remotely operable distribution devicesWorking knowledge of IEEE 1547.2018 and UL 1741Support to the development of the DER Management program at the client such as voltage management, network communication, data mapping, process development, and system operations requirements to manage distributed energy resources.Experience in voltage management and DER reporting is a preferred requirement to succeed in this role.Experience: mid to senior experience
