Bakery Delivery Driver
We are a small, woman-owned, gluten-free, artisan bakery. We are looking for someone with a clean driving record and superb customer service skills to deliver our delicious bread all around the city. You will use a company vehicle for deliveries, not your personal vehicle.
Responsibilities:
Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients in a timely manner.
Boxing up shipping orders on Tuesdays.
Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy.
Abiding by all transportation laws and practicing safe driving skills at all times.
Collecting payments when necessary.
Removing empty crates from the delivery vehicle and putting them back in the bakery once deliveries are completed.
Schedule:
Tuesday through Friday, 9 am until deliveries are completed. The time will vary depending on how many stops there are each day. Each day typically takes around 3 hours but this will vary from day to day.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Clean driving record
Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo, up to 50 pounds
Excellent time management skills to ensure deliveries are completed on schedule
Excellent organizational skills to ensure all deliveries are made accurately
Great customer service skills
Attention to detail
