Role: Automotive TechnicianLocation: Onsite 5 Days in Dearborn, MIContract RoleJob description:Responsibilities include:Assemble and prepare test environments for deployment.Aluminum frame assemblyHarness installationModule InstallationSoftware installationTesting & validationPackage and ship systems to Ford and Non Ford partners.Track distribution using approved process/toolsMaintain operation of tool systemsTroubleshoot and repair tool Systems.Monitor and maintain virtual service deskDiagnose, update, and repair non-functional systems.Manage shipping of components to our fabricators for upcoming system builds.Maintain inventory and organization of tools labEducation:Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred, though applicable knowledge or experience would beacceptable in place of formal educationRequired Primary Skills:Ability to manage priorities, risks, and issues as they arise.Ability to work both independently and as a part of a group.Strong communication skills both written and oral.Functional understanding of automotive electrical wiring and wiring schematicsPreferred Primary Skills:2+ years of experience in electrical harness design or fabricationPrior automotive or IT support.Experience utilizing JIRA.
