Job Title: Temporary Irregular - Procurement & Logistics Technician
FLSA Status: Irregular Part-Time
Pay Grade: $22/hr
Work Days: Irregular Part-Time as Needed
Reports To: Coordinator
Primary Purpose
To support ESC Region 11 departments and participating school systems by coordinating procurement and logistics activities, including obtaining quotes, processing orders, receiving and delivering goods, and maintaining required documentation to ensure compliance with grant and business office procedures.
Qualifications
Education/Certification
High School Diploma or equivalent
Some college coursework preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills
Team-oriented attitude and ability to collaborate with ESC staff and school personnel
Ability to multitask complex activities
Ability to make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and scheduling
Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets, track orders, and maintain documentation
Strong attention to detail and organization
Knowledge of procurement and vendor processes
purchasing, or logistics support experience preferred

General Job Requirements
Obtain quotes for supplies and services
Verify vendor status and compliance
Process goods and service orders using ESC business procedures
Receive and verify deliveries
Coordinate and deliver supplies to school districts
Schedule deliveries with school systems
Ensure completion of Supplement Not Supplant and Receipt of Goods forms
Maintain organized documentation for compliance
Serve as the liaison between ESC, vendors, and districts
Provide professional customer service
Track and report procurement activities
Perform other duties as assigned
Supervisory Duties

Equipment/Specialized Software Used
Computers, printers, spreadsheets, purchasing systems, and other tools necessary to perform job duties.
Working Conditions (Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors)
Mental: Public relations and people skills required; work with frequent interruptions; maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
Physical: Ability to lift and deliver materials; prolonged computer use; frequent travel for deliveries within the ESC Region 11 service area.
Environmental: Remote with travel throughout the service area for deliveries as needed.
Evaluation
Annual performance evaluation will be performed in accordance with ESC Region 11 policies. Employment is contingent upon performance, need, and funding.
