Maintenance Tech/Painter

Role Overview We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Carson City, NV 89706. This position is available for a duration of 6+ months, offering a pay rate between $20.00 and $25.00 per hour. The standard schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST. Core Duties Ensure the upkeep of facility structures and critical machinery, including conveyor systems, engines, motors, and pneumatic tools to keep operations running smoothly. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide repair work. Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical system failures. Monitor equipment during operation and listen for irregularities to pinpoint potential issues. Take apart equipment to access and extract faulty components. Check the texture and shape of components to identify any flaws. Evaluate used components to see if they meet current dimensional specifications. Calibrate control instruments and functional device components. Replace or fix damaged parts to restore equipment functionality. Integrate new structural or functional components into existing systems. Maintain equipment longevity by cleaning and lubricating parts. Utilize various machine tools to assist in the installation and repair process. Verify that repairs were successful by testing equipment performance. Requirements and Background Educational and Professional Background Candidates should possess a GED or high school diploma along with at least five years of relevant training or work experience, or a comparable blend of both. Physical Requirements The following physical activities are necessary to successfully carry out the primary responsibilities of this position. Staff members will frequently use their hands to feel, handle, or reach for various objects. The role requires frequent standing, walking, balancing, climbing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Employees will occasionally need to communicate verbally or hear, and must be able to lift or shift 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently, and up to 90 pounds on occasion. Essential vision capabilities include depth perception, color vision, peripheral vision, distance vision, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
