The Park Services Host is dedicated to keeping each location's public areas clean and presentable at all times.We are currently looking for a:Story Land - Park Services (Workamper)Roles & Responsibilities:Roles and Responsibilities:Maintain the cleanliness of the park in both outdoor areas and indoor office spacesExecute cleaning tasks as outlined in training and Standard Operating ProceduresComplete regular and rotating weekly cleaning tasks as assigned during shift periodsDiligently clean and disinfect public areas including, but not limited to, outdoor park areas and walkways, restrooms, offices, food stands, employee dining facilities, ride areas, and lockersProvide exceptional guest service by assisting guests with their questions or issuesEnsure the park pathways are litter freeEnsure trash receptacles are clean and free of spills visually and are emptied on a regular basisCheck toilet paper, soap dispensers, in restrooms and replace suppliesSweep, mop and/or scrub interior floorsPerform basic maintenance duties (e.g. unclogging the toilet or changing light bulbs)Accurately and promptly report maintenance problems to proper authoritiesPreserve landscaping of park (pulling weeds, watering flowers)Ensure benches and flowerbeds are clean and free of debrisProperly handle, label, and store cleaning chemicals and suppliesProtect guests' belongings, deliver lost and found items immediatelyProactively monitor the park for safety hazards (e.g. wet floors, tripping hazards, etc.)Maintain records on all work completed and safety inspectionsEnsure ADA standards are met in each locationAll other duties and special projects assigned by leadershipLanguage: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.Education and Experience:• No education requirements for this position• Previous work experience is not requiredRequirements:Must be at least 16 years of age to comply with NH Child Labor LawsAbility to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust have reliable transportation to and from work for your scheduled shiftAbility to comply with all uniform policiesMust possess strong attention to detail and desire to keep park clean and presentableAbility to safely and properly use a variety of cleaning equipment, including brooms and mopsMust display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with all park guidelinesMust possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional mannerAbility to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independentlyPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, bend, or squat for long periods of timeAbility to remain on feet for majority of the workdayAbility to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or moreAbility to consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/toolsAbility to see details of objects that are more than a few feet awayWorking Conditions:•Frequent exposure to all outdoor and indoor areas of the parkFrequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditionsSubject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, highly populated areas, and exposure to various cleaning chemicalsSubject to bloodborne pathogens Proper PPE is required in these situations.Subject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activitiesTeam member benefits:Working at Story Land is about making people happy!
