Job TitleJob Description:Job DutiesCoordinates and schedules production in an efficient manner while attaining qualityMonitors and reacts to Statistical Process Control information, shuts down equipment when there are process problems and makes necessary correctionsTrain new mixersSchedules and performs routine preventative maintenance of equipmentIdentifies, isolates, and corrects equipment malfunctionsAbility to accurately measure, weigh, and add chemical raw materials manually or automaticallyManufacture material according to batch cards and mixing work instructions using computer softwarePerform routine batch quality checks and testingSanitizes/Cleans mixing equipment per work instructions at scheduled intervalsMonitors integrity of mixes and shuts down operation if out of complianceResponsible for accurate and timely reporting of production, labor and scrap incurred during the shiftAssures that chemical mixers are trained in operations that pertain to the mixing areaAssures MRO parts are maintained at desired levels, ordering those items as neededPromotes and follows all safety guidelines and proceduresRecommends safety improvements as neededPerforms various other duties as necessary.QualificationsHigh school diploma/GED required3-4 years of batch mixing experience in hand cleaner or related industryMust be computer literateMust be certified to drive all types of lift trucks: low-lift, fork-lift, high-liftMust be able to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions.Compensation Information:$29.00 - $34ITW is an equal opportunity employer.
