Our client is looking for a Full Stack Java Developer to join a front office technology team supporting a trading environment. The role focuses on maintaining and modernizing a robust Java core platform used in capital markets, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability of critical systems.You will work closely with developers, architects and business stakeholders in an agile environment, contributing to the evolution of high-performance trading applications within a regulated financial setting.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Full Stack Java applications for trading systemsSupport modernization of existing Java-based core platformsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, business, architecture)Contribute to system design, development and code reviewsEnsure performance, stability and reliability of applicationsSupport integration and troubleshooting in production environmentsWork in an Agile/Scrum setup with international teamsQualifications5+ years of experience in Java development (Full Stack or Backend)Experience with APIs, databases and system integrationUnderstanding of financial markets or trading environments (nice to have)Knowledge of Fixed Income products is a plusFamiliarity with AI technologies is requiredFluent English required, Spanish is a nice to haveWhat the Company OffersHybrid from NYC or remote (EST time zone)Salary: 45-50k fixed base + variable bonusInternational front office trading environmentHigh-impact, technically challenging projectsStrong learning and development opportunities
